ISA adalah undang-undang lapuk dan zalim yang sering diguna kerajaan untuk menahan aktivis dan pemimpin pembangkang. Sejak ia diperkenal dalam tahun 1960, lebih 10,000 telah ditahan di bawah akta itu.
Pada bulan September, Perdana Menteri Najib mengumumkan ISA akan dimansuh. Dalam komen saya, saya menyatakan kenyataan PM itu hanyalah gimik politik untuk menarik sokongan pengundi.
Ternyata benar! Semalam (17 November) 10 lagi ditahan di bawah ISA!

ISA is one of the infamous draconian laws in Malaysia used by the government to detain dissidents and opposition leaders without trial for two years or more.
Since it was introduced in 1960, more that 10,000 people have been detained under the ISA. In September 2011, Prime Minister Najib announced that the government will abolish the law. In my recent comment, the PM's statement, to me, was merely a lip service and political gimmick to gain support from people.
True enough, yesterday (17 Nov) 10 people were held under the law!
